TheFramex privacy

Privacy Policy

This page explains how TheFramex handles files, browser data, analytics, cookies, and privacy requests for its browser-first media tools.

Effective: August 15, 2026Website: theframex.in

1. Who this policy is for

This Privacy Policy explains how TheFramex handles information when you use theframex.in and its media tools.

TheFramex is a browser-first utility website for image compression, image conversion, image cropping, photo enhancement, images to PDF, PDF to images, audio conversion, and local video to audio extraction.

2. Files you choose for tools

The current tools are designed so your selected files are processed locally in your browser whenever the feature supports it. That means your images, PDFs, audio files, and local videos are not intentionally uploaded to a TheFramex conversion server for the normal browser-based workflow.

Your browser may temporarily hold file data in memory, object URLs, canvas data, previews, downloads, or WebAssembly processing state while the tool is open. Closing the tab or refreshing the page usually clears that temporary browser state.

If TheFramex later adds a tool that requires server-side processing, the page should clearly explain that before upload, and this Privacy Policy should be updated.

3. Information we may collect

Basic technical data: your browser, device type, operating system, approximate region, referring page, pages visited, and standard server log data such as IP address and request time.

Tool usage data: selected tool, selected output format, conversion status, error status, and performance events. This is used to improve reliability and UX.

Contact data: if you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and anything you choose to include in the message.

We do not need your file contents to provide the current browser-first tools.

4. How we use information

To provide, maintain, debug, and improve TheFramex tools.

To understand which tools are useful and which workflows need better UI.

To protect the website against abuse, spam, automated attacks, and reliability issues.

To respond when you contact us with a question, request, or complaint.

5. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

TheFramex may use browser storage for basic preferences or product behavior, such as remembering UI choices or improving the user experience.

If analytics or ads are added, they may use cookies or similar technologies. Where legally required, TheFramex should request consent before using non-essential cookies.

You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some storage may affect parts of the website.

6. Advertising and affiliate links

TheFramex may add advertising, sponsorship, or affiliate links in the future. If that happens, ad partners may process limited technical data according to their own policies.

Ads should stay separate from tool controls so users can clearly understand what is part of the tool and what is advertising.

7. Sharing information

We do not sell your uploaded file contents. Current browser-first tools are not designed to send those files to TheFramex servers for normal processing.

We may share limited technical or analytics data with service providers that help run hosting, security, analytics, email, or product infrastructure.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate abuse of the website.

8. Data retention

Files processed locally are not intentionally stored by TheFramex after your browser workflow finishes.

Technical logs and analytics events may be kept for a limited time for security, debugging, product analytics, and business records.

Emails you send to us may be kept as long as needed to answer your request and maintain support records.

9. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to some processing of your personal data.

You can contact us to request help with privacy questions. We may need enough information to verify and respond to the request.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection framework, users may have rights related to notice, consent, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and withdrawal of consent where applicable.

10. Children’s privacy

TheFramex is not built for children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Parents or guardians should supervise file-processing tools if a child uses the website.

11. International use

TheFramex is available on the web, so visitors may access it from different countries. Hosting, security, analytics, or support providers may process limited technical data in other regions.

By using the website, you understand that data may be handled according to the laws that apply to the website, its providers, and your location.

12. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as TheFramex adds new tools, backend features, accounts, payments, analytics, ads, or server-side processing.

The effective date at the top of the page shows when this version was last updated.
